Shark Robotics, a French SME and leader in the fire safety robotics market, held a ceremony on Tuesday, November 25, in Ukraine with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) to celebrate the delivery and deployment of 40 “Colossus” robots financed by France.
Cyrille Kabbara, founder and CEO of Shark Robotics, presented the Colossus robots together with SESU Director General Andriy Danik. Attendees included the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Ihor Bezkaraivainyi; the French Ambassador, Gaël Veyssière; the Special Envoy of the President of the French Republic for Ukraine’s Reconstruction, Pierre Heilbronn; as well as representatives of several European and Ukrainian authorities.
These robots are used daily in SESU operations across various oblasts, particularly in the aftermath of airstrikes. They contribute directly to Ukraine’s resilience: they protect emergency personnel by intervening in areas that would pose excessive risks to human responders, and they enhance operational efficiency.
The ceremony was preceded by a demonstration of the Colossus robots and other advanced equipment used by SESU to protect people and property in the face of Russian aggression.
